Home And School Association

St. Mary Elementary School Home and School Association was founded to promote cooperation and communication among parents, faculty and administrative staff. Successful interaction serves to foster and enhance the spiritual, mental, social and physical education of all students. The functions of the H.A.S.A. are threefold: to be of service to our children, school, parish and community; to provide information through regular communications with the school community; and to raise funds to help enhance our children's educational environment.

General meetings are held periodically throughout the year. As the occasion and interest level of the parents warrant, speakers are scheduled. Social and service events are planned for the families during the academic year.

Professionally, the H.A.S.A. is a member of the National Forum of Catholic Parent Organizations and the National Catholic Education Association.

All elementary school families are encouraged to be active participants in the Home and School Association. There are many committees that need volunteers and chairpersons. Whatever amount of time a family can commit is welcomed and appreciated.

After School Enrichment Program

The H.A.S.A. is also responsible for organizing and administering the after school Enrichment Program. If you have not experienced enrichment in a prior session or if you are new to St. Mary’s, enrichment is a great way for your child to enjoy fun, "hands on" activities with their friends after their normally scheduled school day. The best part is that enrichment activities make things convenient for you as well since the businesses come directly to the school. No more driving to your child’s favorite after school activity! It is an opportunity for your child to be creative and let their imaginations soar!
