St. Mary’s, Nothing But Treble, to sing at the National Anthem at the National Governors Association Winter Conference

Our St. Mary’s High School group, Nothing But Treble was honored to kick-off the opening ceremony at the National Governors Association Winter Conference singing the National Anthem.
Along with an amazing opener, they heard a keynote speech from Prime Minister of Australia Malcolm Turnbull. Also had the chance to speak with premiers from across Australia, including Premier Gladys Berejiklian of New South Wales!
High School Principal , Mindi Imes stated,  “Our a cappella group, Nothing But Treble, NBT, is a group of ninth through twelfth grade girls who harmonize as a team sharing their gift of song at a variety of venues.  Whether they are singing our Alma Mater, the National Anthem, a modern song, or my favorite, "The Rose," crowds stop and listen.  NBT practices in the mornings before school and they sing at various events all over Maryland, earning distinctions at competitions.  NBT has recorded their music and you can find their songs on various platforms, including iTunes and Spotify.  When NBT sang the National Anthem at the National Governors Association Winter Meeting the world was able to witness their gifts and talents on a larger stage.  We are so proud of Nothing But Treble and we are grateful that Mrs. Kirsten Brandler helps our students share their voices in harmony.“

The National Governors Association is the bipartisan organization of the nation’s governors. Through NGA, governors share best practices, speak with a collectiv
e voice on national policy and develop innovative solutions that improve state government and support the principles of federalism.   Nothing But Treble is an all-female a cappella group from St. Mary's High School in Annapolis, MD.
