St. Mary's educators named semi-finalists for 2018 AACPS Teacher of the Year

Principal Rebecca Zimmerman stated, "Mrs. O'Neil is a dynamic educator who instills a true love of literacy and learning in all of her students.  She creates engaging and inspiring lessons that are differentiated to meet the needs of all of her learners. St. Mary's is blessed to have Mrs. O'Neil and her many gifts."
Principal Mindi Imes stated, “Jamie is an exceptional teacher because he cares about his students and he is one the most cutting edge professionals in the building who has been encouraging STEM before it became a common acronym. Jaime teaches students critical thinking skills in the disciplines of Chemistry, Physics and Cyber Science and his leadership spills over into guiding students to build rockets and aquatic devices for competition through our Robotics and Engineering Club.
St. Mary’s Parish, a Catholic congregation served by the Redemptorist Order, includes St. Mary’s Church and St. John Neumann Mission Church.
