St. Mary’s High School Theatre Proud to Present Almost, Maine

St. Mary’s High School Theatre is proud to announce its fall production, Almost, Maine, will premiere on Thursday, November 21, and run through Sunday, November 24.
Almost, Maine, a play by John Cariani, is comprised of nine scenes that explore love and loss in a remote, mythical almost-town called Almost, Maine.

“I am so excited to be directing these wonderful students in this beautiful play,” said St. Mary’s High School Theatre Producer and Program Director Kathleen Ruttum. “The student actors and technicians have worked very hard to create a magical evening of theater. I am sure the stories they will tell will resonate with our audiences both young and old.”

Almost, Maine, a place that’s so far north, it’s almost not in the United States. It’s almost in Canada. And it’s not quite a town, because the residents never got around to getting organized. One cold, clear winter night, as the northern lights hover in the star-filled sky above, the residents of Almost, Maine, find themselves falling in and out of love in unexpected and hilarious ways. Love is found and love is lost in this wonderful collection of stories perfect for a winter night's dream.
