St. Mary's Girls Lacrosse to Play at US Lacrosse Headquarters

The St. Mary's Girls Lacrosse team is excited to announce that they will be playing at US Lacrosse Headquarters in March. St. Mary's will be opening up conference play against Glenelg Country School on March 16 at 6:30 pm. This will be the first high school game played at US Lacrosse Headquarters this spring.
 
Head Coach Mindy Jones stated, "We are excited to have the opportunity to play against Glenelg in the new state of the art lacrosse facility. Lacrosse is the fastest growing sport and it is exciting for our program to be one of the first teams to utilize this great facility against a great opponent."

Director of Athletics , Allison Fondale stated, “ "We are excited to announce that the St. Mary's Varsity Girls Lacrosse team will be playing at the United States Lacrosse National Headquarters in March. This is a great opportunity for our team to not only play a game at the same facility in which the National teams train but to also tour the Hall of Fame Museum to learn about the
history of the game they love to play. We feel very fortunate to be the first girls high school game at the facility this spring."


Tierney Field, which features a state-of-the-art GreenFields MX Trimension woven turf, is part of the US Lacrosse campus that includes the IWLCA Building and the National Lacrosse Hall of Fame and Museum.
