Teacher Grant News!
In our inaugural year, with your support, we raised almost $5,000!
We are thrilled to announce, we are already sending that money right back into our St. Mary's classrooms this school year!
The following teachers applied for a classroom grant from SGS and were awarded the following:
- Zack Scudlark, Band Director $700 for band equipment
- Reed Gallant, Art Teacher $100 art room light boxes
- Diana McLoud, Music Teacher and Choir Director $600 in musical instruments
- Joanna Bigelow, Art Teacher $300 to support a Coffee House featuring student performances
St. Genesius Society Mission:
The St. Genesius Society at St. Mary’s School in Annapolis is a parent-led volunteer organization dedicated to supporting performing and fine arts, including theatre, music and studio arts. Named for St. Genesius, the patron saint of performers, St. Genesius Society activities and fundraising will support creatives of all types and foster a love of the arts at the school, throughout St. Mary’s parish, and in the local community.
