The Saints' Spirit
Students entering St. Mary’s High School, whether they have graduated from St. Mary’s Elementary or enter from another school, find a warm and caring educational environment. St. Mary’s students find that they are part of a community where students support each other’s endeavors, in the classroom, in activities, and in sports.
Long established traditions are integral to St. Mary’s. The Junior Ring ceremony, Spirit Week, and class retreats build friendships, class identity and lasting memories. Each year the graduating class at St. Mary’s is highlighted in a slide show at the Senior Honors Dinner.
As alumni, St. Mary’s graduates have a fervent devotion to this community. They form lasting friendships and support each other’s personal and professional endeavors. St. Mary’s is particularly proud that the spirit of service we encourage during their school years endures as a life-long commitment. St. Mary’s alumni are active in local parishes, in community organizations, and on local boards.
We encourage our students to develop a moral compass, to remember that a good life is one in which faith, family, and friendships are central, and become men and women of genuine accomplishment in all aspects of their lives.
