St. Mary’s H.S. Theatre is immensely proud to present…as never before seen on the Marian Hall stage… (Work in Progress): A Sequence of Song and Spoken Word!

This collection of original theatre pieces and songs from musical theatre presents an impression of what it means to be a high-school student in our world today.

(Work in Progress) draws upon powerful songs from both classic and contemporary musical theatre; among the selections are “Seasons of Love” from RENT, “The Hard-Knock Life” from Annie, “Defying Gravity” from Wicked, and “You Will Be Found” from Dear Evan Hansen.

Alongside these moving (and sometimes hilarious!) songs are spoken-word performances written by the directors and actors of St. Mary’s H.S. Theatre. Monologues and scenes (and a few other surprises along the way) help to flesh out the moments and marathons, the miracles and meltdowns that make up the four-year journey of high school.

Our student actors, student technicians, directors, and parent volunteers are proud to present this original theatre piece which is sure to move, entertain, and involve you. Don’t miss this world-premiere event: (Work in Progress), coming to the Marian Hall stage this April!
