Parish Life

"Love and charity, are service, helping others, serving others. There are many people who spend their lives in this way, in the service of others. … When you forget yourself and think of others, this is love! And with the washing of the feet the Lord teaches us to be servants, and above all, servants as He was a servant to us, for every one of us." -- Pope Francis, Jubilee audience, March 12, 2016
We need you! We are blessed to have a large Faith Formation program at St. Mary’s Parish. The success of our program is completely dependent on the gracious service of our parents and volunteers. There are many opportunities for you to share your gifts. Below is a list of volunteer roles for your prayerful consideration. To sign up as a volunteer, just print off and complete the form using the link on our Volunteer page, and return it to Faith Formation at St. Mary’s Church office, or call Karen, our Director of Faith Formation, at 410-990-4062.
The safety of our children is a priority for us at St. Mary’s. All volunteers must comply with the Archdiocesan Policy for the Protection of Children and Youth, including background checks, VIRTUS child and youth protection training for adults and Worthy of the Call training for teens 14-18 years old before working with children at our parish. Click here to read more about the child and youth protection training. If you have questions, you can contact the Faith Formation Office for guidance to begin this training process.
You may be the only Gospel others may ever read!
