Sacrament of Holy Orders

Through the Sacrament of Holy Orders, the mission entrusted by Christ to his apostles continues to be exercised in the Church until the end of time. The Sacrament’s three degrees are Deacons (Diaconate), Priests (Presbyterate), and Bishops (Episcopate).
