NYSE Bell Ringing | St. Mary's alum - Amanda Cimaglia

Amanda Cimaglia '01, joined Annapolis-based Hannon Armstrong (NYSE: HASI), a leading investor in sustainable infrastructure, including energy efficiency and renewable energy, in 2012 and currently serves as Director, Investor Relations & Corporate Communications.

The NYSE Closing Bell® signals the closing of the day’s trading and is usually reserved for NYSE listed companies and special guests.  Hannon Armstrong was invited to ring the NYSE Closing Bell® in celebration of Climate Week in New York City.

Amanda Cimaglia is responsible for assisting in the development and execution of the company's investor relations strategy and corporate communications initiatives, with special focus on Hannon Armstrong's sustainability communications and cultivation of relationships with institutional investors dedicated to socially responsible impact investment and/or environmental, social and governance (ESG) metrics.  She has spoken on the topic of responsible investing at events sponsored by organizations including Institutional Investor, Asset TV, Fordham University and the University of Maryland and she will be speaking at an event to be held at Yale’s Center for Business and the Environment in early 2018.  Amanda holds a bachelor of business administration, cum laude, from Loyola University Maryland and a master of science from Fordham University.  Currently, she serves on the Fordham University MSIR Advisory Board and is also on the volunteer development and fundraising committee for Annapolis Summer Garden Theatre.
