SMHS Teacher is Finalist for Teacher of the Year
St. Mary’s High School is excited to announce that math teacher Mary Raleigh has been selected as one of two finalists for Anne Arundel County Independent Schools Teacher of the Year.
Raleigh was teaching a class when members of the Anne Arundel County Board of Education surprised her with an in-person announcement. She said she was excited and definitely was not expecting the honor.
Raleigh is among 40 teachers from public and independent schools that will be honored on April 26 at the 36th annual Excellence in Education Awards Dinner.
