St. Mary’s Elementary School Makes Special Delivery to Students

School Administration Delivers Over 600 Yard Signs to Student Homes across Maryland
St. Mary’s Elementary School continues to develop ways to stay connected with its students while its campus doors remain closed due to the coronavirus pandemic. Over the course of three days, six members of the school faculty including Principal Rebecca Zimmerman, Assistant Principal Megan Back, Director of Admissions Marybeth Holzer and school guidance counselors made their way across the state to drop off a special surprise to each St. Mary’s family. Yard signs declaring, “We miss our Saints,” were delivered to homes in Annapolis and Edgewater to Glen Burnie, Crofton, Stevensville, Queenstown and everywhere in between.

In addition to this special effort to show support for students during this difficult time, St. Mary’s Elementary School faculty and staff have conducted drive-by parades in student neighborhoods and continue to conduct distance-learning programs.
