St. Mary’s High School Celebrates its 70th Graduating Class—The Class of 2019

St. Mary’s High School was proud to celebrate the 98 members of the Class of 2019, the School’s 70th graduating class, at this year’s Graduation Ceremony on May 23, 2019. The students in this year’s graduating class were accepted to 188 different colleges and universities in 22 states and the District of Columbia, obtaining over $11 million in academic scholarships. Twenty students will also enter honors programs at their chosen college or university.

Giving back to others and the community was something the Class of 2019 took very seriously, completing over 11,000 service hours over their four years at St. Mary’s. In addition, several students are preparing to attend service academies, with two students set to attend the U.S. Naval Academy and four students receiving ROTC scholarships to institutions including the University of Maryland, Villanova and the Virginia Military Institute. In addition, 24 members of this year’s graduating class will play a sport at their chosen institution, taking their athletic careers to the collegiate level.

Twenty-five graduates are members of St. Mary’s 13-Year Club, having attended St. Mary’s School from kindergarten through their senior year. Congratulations to the Class of 2019!
