St. Mary's ES Nominates First Grade Teacher Kathleen Troutner for 2018-2019 Archdiocesan Teacher of the Year
Ms. Troutner uses every opportunitiy to exemplify the kindness, charity, and loving heart of Jesus. She weaves the messages of faith throughout her daily lessons and prayer time. Ms. Troutner uses many strategies to reach each student in her room. She is always willing to give herself to the great cause of meeting the needs of every student and helping them grow.
In Ms. Troutner's words: I appreciated the education I received in the Archdiocese of Baltimore School System and wanted to pass on this tradition, values, and beliefs with the next generation. I fell in love with being able to teach my students not only how to believe in themselves but also believe and trust in God. St. Mary's Elementary School has afforded me the opportunity to grow as a teacher and foster a love of learning with my students.
