Young adults are invited to join our young adult community, Frassati Fellowship Anne Arundel County (AAC). Frassati Fellowship AAC consists of several regularly occurring young adult events hosted by St. Mary’s in Annapolis and St. John the Evangelist in Severna Park.
Theology on Tap
Theology on Tap (TOT) typically takes place on the first Tuesday of each month and meets in the upstairs room at the Iron Rooster in downtown Annapolis. We begin at 7:00 p.m. with time for dinner, drinks, and socializing. At 7:30 p.m., we introduce a speaker who shares about a faith-related topic. The talk lasts about thirty minutes, with time for Q&A afterward and then more opportunity for dinner, drinks, and socializing.
Night of Worship
Night of Worship (NOW) usually takes place on the third Saturday of each month and meets at St. John the Evangelist in Severna Park from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. NOW centers on Eucharistic adoration. There is usually a brief talk by the presiding priest, praise and worship music, time for silent prayer, and opportunity for the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
Supper series are held at the home of a young adult volunteer. With that in mind, times and dates are set based on the schedules of those volunteers. Young adults gather at the home for a potluck dinner. After time for dinner and socializing, the group spends time reading and reflecting on the Gospel passage for the upcoming Sunday.
If you have questions or concerns, please contact Mary Lipscombe, St. Mary’s Coordinator of Youth and Young Adult Ministry. To receive the most up-to-date information on these events and other local Catholic young adult news, join the Anne Arundel Catholic Young Adults group on Facebook.
