These words just begin to describe the character of the St. Mary’s Elementary School students. The children work through the rigorous academic courses and navigate the life of a St. Mary’s Saint to become an extraordinary group of young men and women. Our students have been consistently recognized for their strong academic preparation and achievement, as well as their study skills, interest in learning, personal integrity and dedication to service.
A clear validation of the excellence of an Saints’ education is the very high rate of acceptance of our eighth graders into competitive, independent and parochial high schools. Upon graduation, our students receive high school honors, awards, school leadership positions, and continue to stand out in the classroom, on the stage, and on sports fields. One small example of our students achievement is their qualification for the honor listed below.
