June 16 & 17, 2017
We had an amazing reunion weekend in Solomon’s! Eighteen classmates from ’77, many spouses, and three from other classes attended the weekend festivities.
Friday’s welcome dinner was a blast! We ate a delicious Caribbean spread under a tent on the riverside with live musicians playing some of our favorite oldies!
Saturday was enjoyed by either hanging around a pool, touring the Maritime museum, taking a boat tour on the Tennison or checking out our local antique shops. What…no paddle boarding? At least none reported!
Saturday’s reunion dinner was delightful. More faces to try to recognize, yet it took little effort to go back in time once the aha moment came!
We also shared a revered moment for the eight classmates who are no longer with us.
It was wonderful to create new memories and to renew old connections again! Many who were not able to come wanted to be kept in the loop as this reunion was unfolding. There will be many more reunions and in the meantime, let’s try to stay in touch occasionally!
All the best to everyone!
