High School Application Process

  •  Check High School Websites for: applications, deadlines, and admission requirements.
  •  Schedule a Shadow Day.
  •  Attend High School Open Houses:
    • St. Mary's High School Open House is Sunday, November 5th from 2:00 - 5:00 PM.
  •  Please send your release of records form to Mrs. Hubbard by November 17th
  •  Complete the admission application for each high school you are applying to and send them directly to individual high schools.
  •  Take the High School Placement Test.
  •  Acceptance letters are mailed mid February.
  •  Final transcripts are mailed following 8th grade graduation in June.
Important Dates:

Sunday, November 5th  
St. Mary’s High School Open House  2:00 — 5:00 PM.
November 17th
Release of Records forms due to
Mrs. Hubbard by 3:00 PM
November 30th
All paperwork due for students applying for the AACPS IB and STEM Programs. Please check with AACPS for more
December 9th  
High School Placement Test (HSPT) at St. Mary’s High School.
Mid - February
AOB High School Acceptance Letters Mailed.
