Saints participate in 2019 Nonpublic Schools Advocacy Day
3/15/2019
St. Mary's High School Honors American Government students participated in 2019 Nonpublic School Advocacy Day. They attended a morning rally at Lawyers Mall - where they got to hear from Governor Larry Hogan himself! Then, were lucky enough to listen and watch a live legislative session in the State House Chamber. In the afternoon, they visited the offices of District 30 delegates and senator. The students were able to engage in conversation with their representatives and ask for continued support for our schools.

St. Mary's High School's Señora Ellen Smith is one of two finalists for the 2019 Teacher of the Year for Independent Schools in Anne Arundel County! St. Mary's HS Nominates Social Studies Teacher Kaitlyn Marsh for 2018-2019 Archdiocesan Teacher of the Year

In addition to teaching Social Studies, Kaitlyn Marsh chaperones our Kairos Retreat, plans field trips, serves as the Head Field Hockey Coach which won the championship this past fall, moderates the Hope for Healing Club, and participates in our Bibles and Bagels Club. Kaitlyn is a servant leader who teaches with excellence and leads in a variety of aspects of our school.
