Ranger Rosary Makers
Thank you for your interest in our effort to offer the power of Our Lady’s intercession through the Combat Rosary.
Our Ranger Rosary Guild mission statement is that the rosaries be sent to our servicemen and women deployed in combat zones and those stateside preparing to be deployed through their military chaplains.
Our goals are to spread the message, generate interest and have others begin groups to make rosaries to send to our troops. We are unable to answer specific requests from non-military for individual rosaries. The demand from the chaplains for these combat rosaries is high and our efforts must be kept focused in that direction. For groups only, we will however, provide a sample rosary, a kit with materials to make five rosaries, and the addresses, through the website of our suppliers.
Making Ranger Rosaries
Please email Ranger Rosary Inc an address to mail the starter kit and indicate your preference for Army (green and black) or Navy/Air Force (gray and blue) rosary supplies. We encourage groups to get in touch with their local military bases and build contacts to receive the rosaries your groups make.
You may also visit the Ranger Rosary Website for more information and instructions on making the rosary.
In the past six years 300,000 combat rosaries have been made and sent to U.S. armed forces around the world at a cost of $1 each. This has been paid for by the St. Mary’s parishioners and hundreds of interested people and churches across the U.S. The chaplains are very thankful. Donations and prayers to continue this effort are gratefully accepted.
Donations
Hundreds of volunteers in dozens of states and around the world now work to meet the demand for these free rosaries for our troops. As a result of this expansion of the ministry, Ranger Rosary Inc. became an IRS-approved tax-exempt charity in March 2008. This step recognizes the international focus of Ranger Rosary Inc. and its scope beyond the borders of a single parish. St. Mary’s Church remains the heart of the Ranger Rosary network and its largest rosary producer.
Contributions are tax deductible and will be gratefully accepted.
