"When I was in prison you visited me."
2/25/2011

The St. Mary's Prison Ministry answers Jesus's call to reach out to those who are in prison.
We are looking for more volunteers who are interested in bringing the gospel and communion to the inmates at the Jennifer Road Detention Center.  The commitment requires a Saturday every other month from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. A volunteer would need to become a Eucharistic Minister and have a police check. If interested please call Frank Piazza @ 410-703-8104 or Claudia Noel @ 443-994-4882.

The Annapolis Light House Shelter relies upon groups within the Annapolis area to provide dinners for the residents and for those who are staying at the shelter as part of the Winter Relief program.
St. Mary's parishioner Karen Risher is willing to coordinate a new group of parish volunteers to periodically provide dinners to the Light House Shelter.
If you are interested in participating please contact Karen at 410-263-0656, or e-mail her at kobrisher@verizon.net This is an excellent opportunity to carry out Christ's command to us to Feed the Hungry.
